Hola, antes que nada pedir disculpas si este no es el sitio adecuado, pero después de ojear todo el foro creo que este es el más adecuado.

Voy con mi problema. Resulta que tengo un PC bastante potente para mover Minecraft pero por algún motivo, éste parece que vaya a pocos fps. En la información que sale pulsando F3 (creo que era esta tecla) me dice que va a unos 50/30 fps mínimo con todo a tope, más que suficiente para jugar. Si fuera cierto claro. Lo bajo hasta que alcanzo unos 150 fps, pero nada, yo lo veo igual. Tal vez algo más fluido, pero para nada con la suavidad que sería jugar a 60 fps reales.

Decir que juego en ventana ya que tengo una pantalla 4k y si lo pongo a pantalla completa, como el juego no está preparado para esa resolución, éste se me va a una esquina del monitor en las que te muestra los 1080p de rigor :slime:

¿Qué ocurre? ¿Está mal optimizado o algo? Decir que juego en un Mac.

PD: Java está actualizado a la última versión y la versión de Minecraft que uso es la última también, la 1.8.7 si mal no recuerdo.

La verdad, no voy a ser de gran ayuda porque ni he jugado con un monitor 4k, ni he jugado en Mac. Pero sí he jugado en varias máquinas tanto en Windows como en Linux, y puedo decir que la medida de fps suele ser bastante fiable (hasta lo que yo he experimentado).

Tengo una pregunta: este problema que ves, te pasa en single player o en multiplayer? Lo digo porque puede que la experiencia que estás teniendo sea debido a lag del servidor, en el caso de estar jugando en multijugador. Si es en single player, la verdad no sé qué decirte.

Qué gráfica tienes? Puedes pegar el output del log de minecraft? Igual nos puede dar alguna pista...

A parte de lo que propone Mitiko mira si tienes activado en las opciones de vídeo la Sincronización Vertical. Si la tienes activada te capa los fps a 60 y por lo tanto puedes tener bajones. Desactivalo si es el caso y prueba a ver.

Hola, disculpen la tardanza en contestar ya que hay avería en mi pueblo y llevo ya varios días sin internet.
Lo que comentáis de si es en servidor o en modo de un jugador. Yo mismo probé ya la opción de un jugador para descartar eso mismo ya que estaba en un server. Pero claro, lo hice para descartar ya que el server estaba en mi PC ;)

Sobre la gráfica, tengo dos Fire Pro D500 con 3Gbs de memoria cada una. El disco duro es SSD, así que descartado también jeje

Sobre lo de pegar el "output" del Minecraft, además de no poder hacerlo por lo de que no tengo internet (estoy escribiendo desde el movil) no sé qué es eso y desde el movil es complicado de buscar. Es mucho más ágil hacerlo desde el PC.

Nose si sere de mucha ayuda en este caso.. pero seria bueno que (por si no lo tienes) te instales el optifine aparte de todo esto tienes que poner correctamente la configuracion del juego en opciones, en youtube hay varios videos para ayudarte con eso, espero haberte ayudado con algo.

Gracias, voy a buscar el Optifine ese a ver que tal funciona.
Ya comentaré a ver qué suerte he tenido con eso.

He probado todo eso y nada. No hay manera. Igual es que en PC se mueve así.
Yo es que estoy acostumbrado de la fluidez del de consola, que pese a ser mucho menos completo y tener menos cualidades en muchos de los aspectos, en fluidez de da 10k patadas al de PC.
He estado viendo vídeos en youtube y lo veo igual que en mi PC :pollo:
Al cabo de unos minutos me provoca fatigas, cosa que siempre me ha pasado con pocos FPS.
La verdad que hace mucho que no jugaba Minecraft, pero no recuerdo yo que fuera tan mal. Así que, o es así, o no está optimizado, o algo raro.
Aunque yo creo que es por culpa de estar desarrollado en JAVA.
¿En serio no se puede hacer nada más para mejorar?

EDITO para decir que he conseguido subirle la RAM al Minecraft y ya va muy fluido. Aún le falta para llegar a dónde quiero, pero voy a seguir tocando y si encuentro una configuración buena os la comparto.

He probado varias configuraciones de RAM. Esta para el Vanilla:
  • -Xmx6G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn3G
Y esta para la versión con Forge:
  • -Xmx8G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn3G

Y sino me doy por vencido y lo pondré todo a mínimo, lo cual tiene guasa sobrándome equipo por todos lados :ghost:
